Our founders have been working with Progress for more than 20 years. They were among the first programmers developing Progress based applications in the Netherlands. We worked alongside the Progress legend Mario de Jager who later became the first employee of Progress Software Netherlands.
Thanks to our long history programming in Progress 4GL / ABL, Javra Software has been able to grow and stay at the forefront of the leading Progress technologies. Today, we pride ourselves as experts in all of the Progress development tools and platforms. We have software development experts in Progress OpenEdge©, Webspeed©, Web Services and Sonic© ESB.
Our specialty is in conversion of character-based applications to GUI/Web applications with the help of the Progress Productivity Framework, the X/E Files . Progress programming practices have changed completely in the past 20 years. However, since our history dates back to the character based versions of Progress, we understand the needs of companies and programmers still working with character based applications.
